We take pride in providing an extremely high standard of accommodation for our guests. As a Laundry Assistant, you will play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our linens and other laundry items.
**Role and Responsibilities**
You will be working in our small team responsible for all the hotel's laundry including linen, towels and tablecloths.
- Operating industrial washers, dryers and roller iron, with full training given.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items according to company standards,
- Inspect and identify damaged or stained items and report them to the supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area
- Follow proper procedures for handling and storing linens and other laundry supplies
- Monitoring collection of linens and laundry from Kitchen, Restaurant, Spa and Housekeeping staff.
**Skills**:
- Attention to detail to ensure quality control of finished laundry items
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy laundry bags or linens
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
Hours of work are from 7.00am - 3.00pm, working five days out of seven to include weekends as required.
**Salary**: £20,319.00-£21,320.00 per year
