Restaurant Supervisor

A unique opportunity to join the Meraki restaurant groups latest project. A full refurbishment and rebranding that requires an experienced and passionate Supervisor to oversee and help lead the front of house team at **Luciano's**and **Vesper Bar** in Hamilton.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth functioning of all front-of-house activities.
- Welcome and seat guests, taking reservations and managing Resdiary efficiently.
- Ensure that guests' needs are met promptly and courteously, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to maintain consistent food quality and presentation.
- Assist in training new employees on service procedures, menu knowledge, and customer interaction.
- Monitor inventory levels of stock and supplies, and advise management if levels are low.
- Uphold health and safety standards, including proper food handling and cleanliness of the restaurant.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of daily sales and receipts.
- Cash up and secure building at the end of the evening.
- Collaborate with management to create and implement promotions or special events to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
**Requirements**:
- **1 year Supervisory** **experience** required.
- **Must be Available Mon-Sun from 11am onwards**
- Expected hours **24-30 per week**
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for food and hospitality, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
