**Salary**: £21,000 - £23,000 p.a. depending on experience (plus monthly company bonus scheme, circa £25k pa after bonuses)

**Hours**:Monday to Friday, 09:00am to 5.30pm

**Location**: Head Office at Stapeley, Nantwich Cheshire CW5 7JW

**The Role**:
We are looking to recruit an accounts assistant to join our finance team based at head office who will report to the Management Accountant.

**Duties will include but not limited to**:

- Price checking and matching supplier invoices (potentially high volumes)
- Inputting invoices into the purchase ledger and raising sales ledger invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations and monthly payment runs
- Managing supplier credit claims
- Posting monthly journals
- Preparing monthly P&L repots and cashflow to draft level
- Bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare Monthly VAT returns for review
- Ad hoc support of the department

**Essential Skills, you should**:

- Be computer literate, knowledge of SAP Business One, Sage Accounts and Excel would be desirable but not essential as training will be given
- Some experience within an accounting position is essential
- Have good organisation skills and be able to prioritise your workload and meet set deadlines
- Have attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Permanent
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
