Business Intelligence Analyst

Based in our Horsforth Office, we are looking for a **BI Analyst** to support the Business Intelligence function in the presentation, analysis and movement of data around the business. This is a hybrid role, meaning you'll have the flexibilityof both home and office working.

**What you’ll be getting up to**:

- Supporting the BI/MI reporting functionality from Tenet’s core systems, intelligent office (iO), Zoho One and the Data Warehouse.
- Supporting the BI Data Strategy by carrying out relevant analysis tasks.
- Ad-hoc Data/analytical work as determined by the Business Intelligence Leader.
- Assisting the enhancement of Business Processes and reporting by sharing insights and communicating with teams around the business.
- Supporting the development of group-wide BI/MI solutions and data, this involves:

- Building data models to aid the development of the Data Warehouse
- Developing Power BI reports
- Gathering detailed business requirements and engage with stakeholders
- Building solutions based on detailed requirement documents in line with the BI Development Lifecycle
- On-boarding new datasets, transforming existing data and improving the data held
- Improving efficiency of data transformation and movement
- Storing and maintaining relevant metadata and documentation
- Helping develop new ways for Tenet and our customers to make the most of the data available
- Data Governance & ensuring all Tenet’s processes are GDPR compliant

**On a typical day this role will be**:

- Building, maintaining and governing BI/MI reports in multiple core systems
- Supporting the BI strategy by testing data outputs from the warehouse and other core systems match each other (aid the validation and testing of what is being built elsewhere).
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders on reporting and functionality.
- Collaborating with the rest of the Business Intelligence function to ensure we get the most out of Tenet’s core systems before creating other MI elsewhere.

**You will be able to demonstrate the following skillsets**:

- recent graduates will be considered
- Logical thinking that is analytical with a keen eye for detail
- Comfortable managing data
- Effective communicator
- Excellent organisational and time management skills

**We'd love to see**:

- Significant excel experience (VBA, macros)
- Experience with the MS BI Stack (SSIS/SSAS/SSRS/Power BI)
- Experience in the Finance Sector
