Our client, a 30-year-old geography information system (GIS) and web mapping software development company, are looking to hire their first dedicated DevOps Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an automation-first mindset to come inand help elevate the client's SDLC, deploying and streamlining Azure cloud-based infrastructure.

In its current form, our client's software is installed onto all their customer's systems manually. The role of the DevOps Engineer will be to devise and implement methods for automating such tasks, using DevOps tooling and cloud-based infrastructure toachieve a more automated process.

Whilst this will be the first dedicated DevOps Engineer in the business, the engineering team is currently comprised of four Core.Net Developers, and two Front-End Developers. They are headquartered in Stevenage, with 35 people in the business. However,this role is 100% remote and so can be done from anywhere in the UK.

**Essential Skills**:

- Cloud (Azure)
- Containerisation (Docker)
- Scripting (PowerShell)
