**Position Overview**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a EHS3 & Facilities Manager to join us. You take ownership of supporting UK & IE EHS network and operations team and act as a Subject Matter Expert for all EHS matters. We are offering this role on a full time,permanent basis.

**Site Address**: MESM, The Solutions Hub, Buckshaw Village, Chorley PR7 7EL

About 10% - 20% of your time you will spend travelling to different UK locations, thus full UK driving license and own transport required.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Leading EHS3 processes, operations and matters, providing technical guidance and support for our Avantor Clinical Services (MESM) site
- Crafting strategy for EHS3 on-site: planning strategy implementation, creating formality, meeting legal requirements and legislations, reviewing SOPs
- Safety and environmental analysis and reporting
- Working with the UK EHS3 team and local business team to continually improve safety culture, compliance, systems and performance
- Developing a balanced action plan to reduce site environmental impact
- Managing and coordinating facility security, and maintenance and improvement

**Experience Required**
- Proven experience in s similar (safety management) role
- Previous experience in EHS3 and Facility management, EHS3 management at Warehouse
- Safety Qualifications - IOSH, NEBOSH, ISO 14001
- Reporting, manipulating data and presenting
