We pride ourselves on our high standards, excellent customer service and the quality of our products. Over the years we have expanded our retail space to house a vast selection of ski and snowboard products and our online presents is going from strength to strength.
We are currently looking to recruit an EPOS administrator to look after the day-to-day operation of our EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) system.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- To ensure accurate data input of the stock system such as booking in orders, transferring stock and inputting record data.
- To ensure stock data and promotional activities are kept up to date.
- Carry out regular housekeeping/maintenance tasks to ensure clean and accurate data from the EPOS system and to minimise system downtime.
- To produce monthly reports available within the EPOS system.
- To provide first line assistance to users when problems with the EPOS system occur including dealing with both hardware and software issues. This includes acting as a conduit for two-way communication between the users and the system help desk.
- To assist in providing training and support to till and EPOS users on the system operation.
- Assist with the set up and reconciliation of stock takes.
- Update and Track SOR orders to ensure they are collected and returned at the correct time.
- Communicate with brand representatives to obtain any information required for accurate data input.
**Skills/experience required for the role**:
**Essential**:
- Experience of working in the administration of EPOS or other stock control systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Common sense and initiative to proactively solve problems.
- Able to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be flexible, able to cope under pressure and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to form effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and external businesses.
**Desirable**:
- Previous experience working in a retail environment with an understanding of till systems.
- Thorough, systematic approach to each task and ensuring completion.
- Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities while maintaining focus on key initiatives under tight deadlines required.
