Join us as a Technology Lead Business Control Partner
- In this prominent role, you'll lead informed discussion on effective technology risk management and decision-making capability
- We'll look to you to anticipate and assess the potential impacts of risk across our Financial Crime Technology and Wealth Chief Digital & Information Office (CDIO) business areas
- This is a great opportunity to develop a wide network and strong relationships across the bank, as you’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive work environment
- This role is available for a period of 10 months

**What you'll do**:
In addition, you'll be leading and managing a team of technology business control partners, whilst championing their potential and creating a culture of continuous improvement, increasing efficiency and productivity.

Your role will also involve:

- Providing an aggregated view of the control environment for Financial Crime Technology and Wealth CDIO
- Supporting corporate governance and risk committees, formulating and articulating risk profile using the operational risk framework and material risk measures
- Supporting the business in interactions with second and third lines of defence, to drive a shared view across the three lines of defence
- Making sure that impacts of strategic initiatives on the operational risk profile are evaluated, managed, and mitigated
- Supporting and regularly engaging with relevant stakeholders
- Providing oversight and supporting the risk committees and relevant forums

**The skills you'll need**:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a highly skilled leader with experience in Technology risk, and controls and financial crime. You'll have the ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships as your ability to develop stakeholder relationships will be as important as your risk management skills.

You'll also have the ability to oversee risk committees, and formulate and articulate controls and residual risk using the operational risk framework and material risk measures.

We’ll also look to you to bring:

- Significant experience within a technology risk or controls role and a strong understanding of IT general controls and technology control frameworks such as COBIT
- Experience in managing teams, coaching and development
- Demonstrable ability to deliver high quality outcomes, in a fast-paced environment
- Comprehensive experience in risk management, risk committees and controls frameworks
- The ability to communicate complex ideas and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
