We have an agile and iterative approach to software and product development, which we are embedding as part of our operational model, and our growing team of Scrum Masters are an essential part of enabling us to develop our technology into a range of products and services.

We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional agile leader to get involved in shaping Oxbotica’s ways of working that enable us to deliver our cutting edge products and services.

**What you’ll be doing**

Growing the adoption and implementation of agile practices across Oxbotica

This role is responsible for continuing our agile adoption from our teams, across our departments and to our senior leaders.
- Coaching people across the organisation to engage in and effectively use agile, lean and iterative practices that enable delivery at Oxbotica
- Lead on embedding consistent approaches across the organisation, extending good practice and scaling approaches where necessary
- Setting up mechanisms and expectations for continuous learning
- Ensuring timely and effective communication and collaboration between teams

Leading and growing the Scrum Master team

This role is responsible for leading, growing and supporting our passionate scrum master team.
- Developing the capability of agile, lean and iterative practices across Oxbotica
- Ensuring that the Scrum Master have the support they need to be successful in their roles
- Formal line management which includes coaching and mentoring, regular 1:1s, performance reviews and career support
- Hiring in additional Scrum Masters to the team

Enable delivery to our customers

This role is responsible for ensuring that we can match the capacity of the organisation with the work we need to do. This includes:

- Identifying bottlenecks and taking proactive measures to unblock them
- Reporting on delivery status and using data-driven insights to inform decision taking
- Forecasting organisational capacity to take on work
- Leading on the planning activities across initiatives

**Who you’ll be working with**

You will be working alongside a supportive and collaborative team of engineers, technical leads, product owners, product managers and Scrum Masters. The Scrum Master team sits within the PMO and works closely with almost every part of the organisation.
**Requirements**:
**What we are looking for**:

- You are an agile leader: a head of delivery management, agile coach or lead with over 5 years of experience setting up and running multiple delivery teams.
- You have a varied toolbox of agile, lean and iterative approaches and know how to use the right approach at the right time.
- You are known for establishing high performing cross-functional teams with psychological safety, enabling teams to self-organise with shared ownership and accountability.
- You are an agile and lean advocate, with experience of coaching teams and stakeholders to effectively use agile, lean and iterative practices.
- You have experience of growing and leading a team of delivery professionals or Scrum Masters, ensuring you have the right capability to enable organisations and teams to create great outcomes.
- You have worked in a growing technology company helping to scale ways of working.
- You are self-motivated, making the connections you need, proactively spotting things, and ruthlessly prioritising to do the few most important things very well.
- You are a skilled facilitator, able to align teams and reach an agreement on ideas, decisions and solutions.
- You have great communication skills and can clearly articulate information and intent at all levels of the organisation.
