School Reprographics and Administrative Assistant

We are looking to appoint a Reprographics and Administrative Assistant. The role is varied and involves working with staff and students in supporting the learning in the school. The role gives the opportunity to work independently and develop the role to make the reprographics department even more effective, as well as support the administration team in the school office in a range of tasks.
**Job Purpose**
To support teachers in preparation for learning through managing and running of the Reprographics Department, supporting displays in classrooms and elsewhere in the school and in providing administration support where required.
**Main Areas of Responsibility**
Ø To order all supplies for reprographics
Ø To keep the printing machines across the school in working order, arranging call out from the Lease Company for repairs as appropriate
Ø To produce photocopying including booklets, exam papers, etc., scanned and laminated items as requested by staff and students and invoice/ charge accordingly
Ø Ensure photocopying/resources requested by staff are provided to teaching staff or other staff as required to support the smooth delivery of lessons
Ø To meet deadlines that are set in advance for photocopying
Ø To support the production of resources in emergencies as required to support teaching staff
Ø To review and update processes to make the Reprographics Department efficient to support student learning and events in school
Ø To ensure copiers across the school are stocked with toner and paper as required
Ø To prepare materials for school events e.g. welcome packs for Year 6, new parent evenings, staff and governors’ meetings, extra-curricular events
Ø To update display boards as requested by teaching staff in classrooms; to work with the Art Technician on displays across the school to maintain the quality of display across the school
Ø To support admin processes in the school including Reception duties as and when required and entering daily Achievement Points using SIMS.
**Salary**: £21,968.00-£23,194.00 per year
