At Tsunami Restaurant Clapham, we are looking for some excellent waiters/waitresses to join our tight-knit team, with experience in hospitality and an interest in Japanese cuisine and culture. This role would be an extremely great opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality and wanting to broaden their experience. We are an independent restaurant based in the busy Clapham North and have been open since 2001.

Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Must be 18+ years old.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous restaurant experience
- Proficiency in serving and food safety practices
- Strong hospitality skills
- Knowledge of food preparation and basic math
- Experience in a kitchen environment
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Prior experience in guest services and upselling techniques

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional guest services by greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
- Utilize hospitality skills to create a welcoming atmosphere and build rapport with customers.
- Utilize kitchen experience to assist with food preparation and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Use basic math skills for order taking and bill calculations.
- Implement food safety practices to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Utilize upselling techniques to promote additional menu items.
- Manage time effectively to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £9.00-£12.50 per hour
