Retail Travel Consultant

**Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Travel Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and planning exceptional travel experiences for our clients. Your expertise in travel industry will be invaluable as you create tailored itineraries that meet the unique preferences and needs of each traveller. **Duties**
- Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, requirements, and budget.
- Research and recommend destinations, accommodations, and activities that align with client interests.
- Create detailed itineraries that include transportation, lodging, and activities.
- Book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services on behalf of clients.
- Provide clients with essential travel information including visa requirements, health advisories, and local customs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel trends, destinations, and hospitality offerings.
- Handle any changes or issues that may arise during the client's trip to ensure a seamless experience.
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

**Experience**
- Previous retail travel experience desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with an ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in itinerary planning.
- Proficiency in using booking systems and travel software is an advantage.
- A passion for travel and knowledge of various destinations worldwide.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
