**Hours**: Monday - Friday 09.00 to 18.00hrs, plus one in four Saturdays 09.00hrs to 16.00hrs.

**Introduction**:David Plaister Ltd are delighted to be expanding their dynamic sales department once again this year and are now searching for a Property Valuer/Negotiator to join our close-knit and motivated team. **Responsibilities**:

- Deliver a targeted number of sales instructions by proactively seeking new business opportunities, conducting and converting property valuations within focused areas.
- Conduct all of David Plaister Ltd’s viewing appointments including a diverse range of sales, lettings, auction and commercial viewings.
- Complete face to face client meetings whilst acting professionally and providing honest and trusted advice.
- Carry out a variety of business generation exercises such as door knocking, canvassing, mail outs, calling leads captured on our database and keeping in touch with previous prospects.
- Build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients within a well-established client and applicant base.
- Make regular contact and communication with vendors to keep them consistently updated and provide them with marketing feedback.
- Assist with negotiations for all departments in an exciting environment.
- Refer landlord, mortgage and new build leads.
- Develop self and brand promotion through various social media channels by proactively sharing posts, photos and videos to demonstrate property, local and market knowledge, whilst adhering to the DPL brand guidelines.
- Assist with general office duties within our fast paced and well-established North Somerset branch.
- Opportunity to develop skills and knowledge as a property agent with a structured training program. This includes studying (in own private time) in order to pass NAEA technical awards (level three) and to gain membership (company will pay for exams andmembership).
- Assist with meticulous marketing strategies for all departments.
- Manage and regularly contact 'hot’ applicants.
- Report on and present monthly sales statistics and business KPI’s.
- General office duties.
- Attend property auction evenings, (circa six/seven evenings per annum) and various out of hours charity events (no extra pay or time in Lieu is given).
- Work closely with a dedicated training and coaching mentor to support your ongoing development within the business.

**Key Skills Required**:

- Proven track record of success within the industry
- Previous experience within the industry
- Understanding of local and industry knowledge
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Use of own mobile phone (company will pay for business calls)
- Well presented for face to face meetings
- An excellent telephone manner
- Self-motivation with a real 'can-do’ attitude
- A professional, confident, motivated and enthusiastic attitude
