**Location**: Remote working with some travel

We work directly with and for, unpaid carers to provide personalised information, advice and support. Making it easier for those caring for someone else to continue living their lives to the fullest. We are currently seeking an Employment Officer to join our team in Lincolnshire. The requirements of the role will include, providing information and advice to Lincolnshire employers which will enable them to develop support networks for their working carers. Work collaboratively with carers and former carers using a strengths-based approach to identify need and support planning for their individual employment opportunities. Identify carers through ongoing promotion of the employment support provided by Carers First Community Teams and our collaborative partnerships. Develop a strong understanding of the Carers First and Lincolnshire County Council databases and their functionality to ensure accurate data records are maintained for commissioners reporting. To be successful you will have a working knowledge of health and social care, particularly in relation to the impact caring can have on an individual’s ability to work. You will have the ability to be able to support employers, carers, and former carers on a 1:1 basis with work related employment issues and queries. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with evidence of working in partnership with organisations, colleagues, and managers to deliver support services and share best practice that supports innovation.
