Role: IT Infrastructure engineer
Location: Brighton Hybrid

**The Role**

The IT Infrastructure Engineer is part of the Infrastructure Team within the Corporate Services Directorate. This role is responsible for the administration, development and support of the company's IT Infrastructure and Network in Azure cloud and on premise.The role would suit a network or infrastructure engineer looking to further develop Azure Cloud skills.
The role will provide administration and support of BAU operations and technical support of strategic projects. Primary focus areas will include:

- Networking: Supporting Cisco devices and Azure networking
- Active Directory
- Microsoft Azure: Supporting and developing Windows servers in Azure (IaaS) and Azure PaaS services.
- Configuration of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online

Supporting other 3rd party solutions including Forcepoint, Mimecast and Solarwinds
**Responsibilities**
You will:

- Deliver and maintain the technical infrastructure that underpins operational services.
- Ensure tasks and support incidents are prioritised and resolved in accordance with business requirements.
- Provide onsite and on-call rota cover

**Essential**
- Strong Cisco Networking experience
- Experience of developing and supporting Microsoft servers and enterprise core services (Active Directory, Exchange etc) as well as Azure deployments of these services
- Supporting other Azure platform components and associated troubleshooting
- Demonstrable experience deploying enterprise workloads to Azure with appropriate controls around backups, DR, monitoring and alerting

**Desirable**
- Azure certifications (Azure AZ104 certification or higher)
- Proficiency with PowerShell
- ITIL V3/V4 Foundation certified with experience of working within OSA, SLA, Change Control

Knowledge of the Microsoft Enterprise software products and services including licensing
