**Job Title: Estimating Co-ordinator**

**Location: Banbridge**

**Hours: 38 hours. 8.00am to 5.00pm Mon to Thurs & 8.00am to 3.00pm Friday.**

**Salary Competitive depending on experience Responsible to Estimating Manager**

Our client specialises in the design, supply and installation of a wide range of Off-site Prefabricated solutions for the commercial M&E sectors throughout UK, Ireland and Europe. **Role**

You will play an essential part in the Commercial Team who are responsible for accurate bid winning costings across Residential, Commercial, Pharma & Data Centre sectors.

**Core Responsibilities of role**:

- Review quote & tender enquiry packs received to ensure that relevant information is available for pricing.
- Liaise with clients to request additional information/clarifications where relevant.
- Liaise with document control to ensure all relevant information is saved down and accessible.
- Liaise with estimating team to review bid detail received and agree approach for estimating.
- Work with suppliers to obtain accurate equipment quotes and review compliance with your request.
- Collate supplier quotes into excel cost sheets for review with estimating team.
- Assist in preparation of coherent quote submissions including front-end summary of assumptions made, inclusions and exclusions.
- Markup drawings used as part of quote/bid preparation to clearly highlight the scope included or excluded.
- Prepare handover files from Estimating to project delivery team for secured projects.
- Maintenance of cost databases and estimating templates.
- Any other duties necessary within the scope and purpose of the role.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Applicants must have 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, these must include Mathematics and English Language
- Good Microsoft Office skills - to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to take ownership of their duties and a willingness to grow and learn within their team and the company.
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate a good ability to work in a fast-paced environment Desired Criteria:

- Previous experience as a junior estimator or estimating administrator
