Nursery Assistant

**Overview**

**Duties**:

- Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery
- Organise and participate in creative activities to engage children, particularly in the outdoor environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children
- Support the Nursery Manager in maintaining a safe and stimulating environment
- Support the personal care, emotional and physical needs of young children

**Skills**:

- Experience working with children in a nursery setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Qualities to guide and motivate children
- Proficiency in English language
- Qualifications in childcare would be advantageous

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 39.25 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Nursery: 1 year (required)
