**CNC Operative Night Shift Monday to Thursday**

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:

- Operation of plasma arc, oxyfuel & CNC machinery.
- Opportunity to train on other machines.
- Drilling / machining experience would be advantageous.
- Working in a heavy engineering environment.
- FLT / overhead crane experience preferable.
- Safe use of all machinery at all times.
- Working to tight deadlines.
- Accurately complete production paperwork.
- Mark incoming steel with unique identification data.
- Pre-pick steel plate ready for production, move plate to and from stock and move plate to and from process equipment using remote controlled overhead cranes.
- To carry out a variety of different duties if required, as set by the Night Shift Supervisor.
- To maintain the company’s health & safety standards at all times, including general housekeeping duties such as keeping your workstation tidy.
- Dressing and grinding of profiles and inspecting the quality of all products prior to packaging for dispatch.
- Load and unload vehicles.
- A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.
- Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary.
- Experience in profile burning advantageous, but training can be provided.
- We are looking for a motivated individual with keen eye for detail and good numeracy skills, and an excellent attendance record.

**Shift Pattern**:

- The role will be weekly night shift 4.30pm - 4am Monday to Thursday
- Overtime when available

**Job Types**:
Full-time, Permanent, Night Shift, shift allowance applicable, annual attendance bonus scheme, 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays

**Expected start date**: Immediately
