**Lithographic Printer - Competitive Salary

**The Role
Do you possess a City & Guilds Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Printing and Graphic Communications? Do you have an understanding of Print Industry, processes, equipment and future initiatives? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

**Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of a Lithographic Printer include, but are not limited to:

- Make ready and run printing machine
- Examine printed sheets and adjust press as necessary
- Ensure that printing proceeds smoothly
- Achieve production KPI and quality performance targets
- Manage crew efficiently
- Support Print Team / shift and Print Management in all aspects
- Maintain the print machines and work area
- No.1 Printer / able to cover No.1 role during periods of absence
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Support assistants and ensure shift duties are complete as a team
- Aim to achieve maximum throughput & outputs with minimum waste
- Follow all quality tasks and protocols in place

MM Packaging UK is market leader for packaging production in Great Britain.

The plant is equipped with the most modern printing and cutting facilities as well as finishing machines in the country and has its own repro facility. Through its inhouse packaging development center, it supports customers with conception and graphics frompackaging development to design.

MMP UK mainly supplies the market segments confectionary, tissues, pet food, cereals, frozen food and beverages.
