Junior Greenkeeper

This is an entry level position and we will provide full training.

**Responsibilities**:
Preparing and maintaining the course to the highest possible standards, in line with the rules of golf, including the playing surfaces, bunkers and other areas

Learning how to use turf treatments, fertiliser and repair damaged areas

Operating course management equipment under supervision of senior staff

Mowing banks, rough and semi-rough, surrounds and approaches, tees, greens and fairways

Assisting on other projects as directed by the Course Manager

Working safely in line with health and safety procedures
- Basic knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
- Minimum GCSE Grade 3 or above in both Maths and English
- Good time management and communication skills
- Full driving licence due to location
- Willingness to be part of a team
- A keen eye for detail

Early starts and physical work is required. Weekends and Bank Holiday work is carried out on a rota basis throughout the year.

Pay: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
