£35,000-37,500 depending on experience + car allowance £4,200

**Holidays**

25 days + Bank Holidays and Birthday as paid day off

**Job Role**

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for the sourcing and contract management of a diverse range of goods, equipment, and services in support of the business departments and construction projects.

You will also be driving and establishing sourcing strategies and establishing effective contract management practices across responsible procurement categories through the management of procurement processes and sourcing events.

**Some of your other responsibilities include**:

- Supporting the development and implementation of procurement strategy and policies
- Identifying new suppliers, conducting initial meetings and making recommendations to the business on engagement and selection
- Building and developing relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
- This is a really interesting opportunity for someone to join a major telecoms client

**What will you bring to the role?**

We are looking for someone who has experience in the procurement of direct and/or indirect goods & services as a Buyer. You must be a confident communicator, able to successfully work with external and internal stakeholders. You must be able to demonstrate that you understand procurement principles around category management and contract management. You will also have:

- 5 GCSEs or above
- An analytical and logical nature
- A desire to develop self via learning and experience.
- Experience in supplier selection, including auditing and assessing suppliers
