**Development Engineer / Product Systems Integration Engineer - Medical Systems, 3D Imaging Systems**

**Salary -**£40K-£70K depending on level of experience plus 15% bonus, numerous excellent benefits

Our client is a highly successful expanding 3D medica limaging company. They have a friendly team working in a vibrant culture ona high-tech product.

**Responsibilities re Development Engineer/Product Systems Integration Engineer include, but not limited to**:

- Gain an excellent understanding of all the company’s product configurations to provide technical input to the Alliances team during discussions with third parties.
- Investigate and develop solutions for third-party integration.
- Specification of mechanical designs, produce mechanical design sketches and work with mechanical engineer to realise these parts.
- Work with other team members and Product Managers to develop new product concepts.
- Specify functionality for supporting software drivers with third parties.
- Work with system architects to develop new solutions.
- Development testing of new solutions.
- Support EMC and Safety testing.
- Maintaining the Design History File for new and existing product designs
- Take product through from concept to design transfer.

**Qualification, Skills & Experience re role of Development Engineer/Product Systems Integration Engineer**:
**Essential**
- HND or bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Engineering, or related discipline
- Working knowledge and experience of electronics and systems
- Able to develop innovative solutions and communicate these to others
- Excellent IT skills, PC configuration, MS Windows, and Networking
- Ability to coordinate day to day technical activities, liaising closely with the other members of the development team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- A good eye for detail
- Excellent communication (oral & written) & interpersonal skills

**Desirable**
- Schematic and PCB CAD design and/or Mechanical CAD experience/skills
- Appreciation of mechanical design aspects
- Experience with imaging systems
- Strong analytical, test and hardware debugging skills
- Experience of reading schematics and data sheets to assist in software and hardware debugging
- Strong build, debug, and test skills, comfortable with using test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analysers) and software debug tools
