As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff, ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the restaurant, hotel, or hospitality industry, particularly those interested in culinary arts and food preparation.

**Duties**
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
- Assist chefs with food preparation tasks as required, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies and ingredients.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of hygiene at all times.
- Participate in regular cleaning schedules to ensure compliance with food safety standards.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential.
- A keen interest in culinary practices and food preparation is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities within the kitchen team.
