**JOB TITLE: Stores Person**

**LOCATION: Titan Facility Aberdeen**

**LINE MANAGER: Production Planning and Documentation Lead**

**HOURS: 08:00 - 16:30**

**SALARY: Competitive, Experience dependent**

**THE ROLE**:
The Stores Person is responsible for controlling all movements of stock within our storeroom. This includes picking parts for outgoing orders, restocking returns, updating inventory management systems and ensuring all HSEQ policies and procedures are adhered to.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Receiving / preparing and logging goods and materials for in / out transfer
- Acceptance checks of incoming parts
- Storing stock in a neat and organized manner, ensuring easy access and retrieval
- Monitoring stock levels and raising any potential shortfalls promptly
- Ensuring all stock items are correctly labelled for identification and reference
- Maintaining accurate records of stock movement and inventory levels using inventory management systems
- Performing regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy of stock levels
- Picking and packing items for internal use or external distribution
- Managing the disposal or return of damaged or obsolete items
- Working closely with other departments to ensure materials and parts are available for projects as needed
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in the storage and handling of materials
- Organizing the storeroom to maximize space and ensure a safe working environment
- Supporting the introduction of new processes and systems for improved stock control
- Training team members on store procedures and inventory management systems

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To adhere to existing work practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternate systems
- To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate
- To co-operate with Titan Energies in complying with relevant health and safety legislation, policies and procedures in the performance of the duties of the role
- To carry out any reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function in line with the level of responsibility of the role

**ENTRY REQUIREMENTS**:

- 3 years’ experience in a related role
- A high level of knowledge of stock control and administration processes
- You must be able to perform each of the specific responsibilities satisfactorily
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft outlook, Excel and Word

**TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT**:

- Ongoing training and development as required, dependant on skill level at onboarding
- Additional courses related to your job function will be provided where noted as appropriate

**SKILLS AND QUALITIES, WE LOOK FOR**:

- Keen eye for detail
- Strong organisational and planning skills with a strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Reporting skills, administrative writing skills, analysing information, verbal communication and Professionalism
- Ability to analyse processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

**SPECIAL CONDITIONS**:

- Must hold current UK work eligibility status

It is therefore a requirement that the individual filling this position has an aptitude to learn new skills, to think for themselves, and be able to work in an environment where fixed routines may not be established.
