**Apprentice Bookkeeper**

mgr is a firm of chartered acountants with an outstanding reputation in media and entertainment, property, retail and other sectors.

We are recruiting for apprentice bookkeeper based in our Bury St Edmunds office who we will support to initially complete the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification with the possibility of extending this to become ACA or ACCA qualified.

The apprenticeship incorporates time to study and attend classes where you will learn all the technical aspects to prepare you for the exams. You will also be supported by our knowledgable team on the practical day to day aspects of the role.

Day to day you will initially you will be trained in all aspects of Bookkeeping using cloud accounting software Xero, calculating and submitting VAT returns, and setting up payments using the banking systems. This will give you a solid foundation to advance your career.

Must haves:
Numerate and outstanding communication both verbal and written.

A Levels or B-Tech

Good organisational and time management skills.

Ambitious and motivated - you will need to do some study in your own time in the run up to an exam.

**Salary**: Up to £12,000.00 per year
