Packer - Scanner

gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for 1 Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm and 1 Part Time Wednesday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm light duty packer - scanner, on a temporary ongoing basis.

You will be joining an award-winning, ethical, environmentally-friendly and technology-savvy enterprise that uses the internet to sell second-hand books worldwide. The role of Packer - Scanner is a key role within the business as you will be reviewing, inspectingand grading the quality of returned books, before they are re-distributed after resale.

The role of a warehouse operative is varied with duties including:

- Quality control and inspection of all returned items
- Grading of books, identifying faults such as tears, binding faults
- Picking and packing of singular & multiple items
- Ensuing all items are correctly packed and labelled correctly
- Defects or damage reported

Basic Hours & Pay Rate
- Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm, and Wednesday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Basic Rate - £10.00 p/h
