My client is currently looking to recruit experienced Production Operators to join their site on the outskirts of Edinburgh. You will be working with a successful manufacturer that has recently experienced an impressive investment and upturn in sales.

**Shift Pattern**:
This is a continental shift pattern - days & nights (4 on 4 off) - this provides essential support for the business, customers and other departments

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining housekeeping standards across the site
- Achieving the daily manufacturing output and material yield targets
- Closing off work order schedules in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensuring that all finished goods are produced in an excellent condition and fit for customer purpose
- Determining and implementing best practice in changeovers to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
- Ensuring delivery of KPI's (Safety, Housekeeping, Quality and Production Performance (OEE = including yield, outputs and quality) are understood and maintained

**Experience**:

- Possess manufacturing experience
- Ability to develop both individually and within a team
- Willing to train others and work closely with others to ensure continuous improvement of skills and personal development
- Will identify training needs and ask the business for support to achieve
- Experience driving a FLT (hold a valid FLT Licence)
- Ability to challenge existing methods and deliver change to improve performance
