**People Advisor**

Are you an experienced HR or People Advisor looking for a fresh challenge within a forward thinking and innovative business?

H2 Consultancy are collaborating with a market leading contract-led business based in **Newcastle under Lyme** who are continuing to expand rapidly. Private Equity backed, they are driven, ambitious and eager to create a best-in-class HR Department.

As part of the brand-new People Team, you will be working closely with the Head of People to support and develop our managers and their teams across various field, operational and office-based roles.

As **People Advisor,** in this full remit HR role you will focus primarily on employee relations by supporting and coaching leaders in all areas of the employee lifecycle, from induction to policy development and career paths to guiding grievancesand disciplinaries. The business wants to build and develop their employees voice and collaborate with teams both on the ground, assisting and guiding managers to lead their teams and this is your opportunity to play a key part in this development.

This is a newly created and varied opportunity where you will have the autonomy to make the role your own.

Main responsibilities of the role will include:

- Researching and recommending people systems and processes, including employee Performance Management processes and Employee Engagement measures.
- Reviewing and updating company policies
- Running people related projects e.g., creating job descriptions for all roles, reviewing and updating induction materials
- Working collaboratively with Internal Communications to develop our employee voice routes
- Supporting the implementation of new ATS systems
- Working with Managers and Leaders to guide and advise them on employee relations matters, developing templates and tools.
- Supporting the harmonisation of terms and conditions for all employees.

**Experience Required**
- Proven experience in a similar, ideally with experience in the construction or manufacturing sectors and working with remote and operational teams.
- Great communicator with the ability to quickly build rapport and trust with stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate, advise and guide managers as a competent and experienced professional.
- Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the latest people processes and introduce a structured way of working.

**Qualifications Required**
- CIPD qualification or be working towards
