**Contract Head of Information Security**

Hybrid working model, 2 days per week within the office.

Highams are partnering a leading UK Insurance organisation to recruit a Contract Head of Information Security.

This role sites within IT and will be responsible for all aspects of information security / cyber security, focusing more on the technical aspects than on governance, risk and compliance. As the trusted advisor to the CISO, and the organisation, you willlead in all aspects of Information Security.

You will need to have held a senior post in Information Services ideally within Financial Services organisations.

Leadership of 25 staff, although not all will be direct line reports.

You will work closely with senior members of Information Security team including CISO and Head of Information Security.

Essential Experience.
- Held senior roles within Information security
- Experience within Financial Services, Insurance or other highly regulated environments.

Desirable
- Relevant information security IT frameworks IS027001, COBIT5
