Monday-Friday, 5am-2pm/3pm-11pm
Hales Group are currently recruiting for a line setter on behalf of our manufacturing client based in Thetford. As a line setter you will be supporting your production team to ensure the smooth running of shift as well as working on the line to assist in meetingbusiness objectives.
What will you be doing?
- Safely set, start and stop machinery on the line as required
- Offer support and guidance to line team
- Ensure that correct materials are being used
- Monitor machine input stop the machine if the supply is not continuous
- Ensure product quality is maintained through visual checks
- Reject any products that don't meet quality standards, escalating to area leader when required
- Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the required standards
- Assist in the smooth and efficient running of the machine
Who are you?
- Exceptional communication skills with a positive approach to problem solving and naturally proactive
- Manage time effectively, even when under pressure
- Keen eye for detail and ability to maintain high-energy and persistence to deliver first-class leadership
- Previous experience working within a supervisory role within a FMCG setting is essential
