My client is a South East based Multi Academy Trust.A Finance Business Partner is sought to provide financial insight, commercial support and analysis to two Schools within the Trust, one based in Mid Kent and the other based on the East Sussex / WestSussex border.
The role requires one day a week at each of the school sites, with the other days avaiable to work from home or on site, as preferred.
The role will work closely with both the individual heads of school as well as the wider trust finance team. The role centres on preparing budgets, forecasts and short and medium term financial plans for both schools. You’ll actively monitor performance againstthe agreed budgets, taking prompt appropriate action where necessary. You’ll produce monthly management accounts for the schools including the preparation of financial information with full analysis and commentary, reporting on a variety of key performanceindicators for internal review and presentation to the relevant parties.You’ll partner with the Heads on any budget revisions in response to significant or unforeseen developments, acting as true business partner, offering commercial and financial adviceon such alterations.There are also some group reporting responsibilities to the Trust Finance team.
