**Functions and Responsibilities**:

- Process parts and interpret findings in accordance with specifications and requirements.
- Have an acute awareness of Health & Safety issues in handling and using of chemicals.
- Evaluate the results and make accept / rejection decisions based on customer acceptance criteria.
- Carry out daily Routine control checks to validate the inspection process and verify equipment calibrations.
- Keeping computerised inspection records.
- Must work well with others in a high performing team environment.
- Must have good communication and clearly articulate information to others.
- Experience of working in a manufacturing Company, with demanding targets.
- Willing to work on a two-shift pattern if required.
- Ability to produce quality work whilst working under pressure.
- Able to work with little or no supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to contribute in a team environment.
- Willing to learn and take on board new skills (Etching, Passivation, Nickel Plating)

**Qualifications (Must-haves)**:

- Documented NDT work experience and training must include a minimum of 400 hours in penetrant inspection (FPI) (32 hours of formal training)
- Must be able to pass a near vision test (Tumbling Es to ISO18490) and Ishihara colour vision test.

**Preferred Experience (Nice to have)**:

- Experience in Eddy current testing.
- Magnetic Particle Testing NAS410 to Level II qualification.
- Experience ideally been gained on Aerospace products.
- An understanding or ability to use SAP would advantageous.
