Architectural Technician

TeamJobs have partnered with a RIBA Chartered Architect looking to recruit into there growing team an Architectural Technician. The modern office role, based in Christchurch would suit an Architectural Technician with at least 3 years work experience, ora Technical Draftsman.

You need to have knowledge of construction methodology and a technical understanding, whilst undertaking the following roles and responsibilities:

- Take a lead role in the production of technical information, technical drawing packs and oversight of projects for RIBA work from stage 4 and onwards.
- Standardisation of the technical process across the package.
- Use of AutoCAD and office software such as Rhino.
- Assist the design team with technical input during the early design stages.
- Carrying out measured site surveys.
- Produce detailed technical drawings.
- Coordinating projects with the team.
- Liaising directly with clients.

You will need:

- A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
- Relevant Architectural/ Construction qualifications such as HND/ Degree
- Experience with UK projects
- Strong technical skills
- Highly skilled use of AutoCAD- experience with Rhino would be desirable
- Current valid driving licence and own use of vehicle will be required for site visits.

The company offers, working from home one day per week and company pension scheme. Working Monday to Friday 9am
- 5:30pm, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, closed over Christmas and free parking permits
