You will join our award-winning Digital, Data and Technology Directorate which is the in-house IT division at the heart of the move to a digital, data-driven organisation with the ambition to provide our customers with cutting-edge digital services. You willbe part of the IT Operations Practice, which is responsible for the performance and delivery of all technical infrastructure which underpins and supports the organisation.
HM Land Registry's existing software systems and services form part of the critical national infrastructure, safeguarding land and property ownership valued at £7 trillion. This enables over £1 trillion worth of personal and commercial lending to be securedagainst property across England and Wales.

**Key responsibilities for theEO Corporate Platform Infrastructure Engineer (Azure)**:
The role holder will work to the Corporate Services technical team and other Lead Infrastructure Engineers and will consult with other stakeholders such as the Delivery Practice, Service Management Practice and the Service Design and Transition team.
Working as part of a cross functional team, duties will include providing technical support for the maintenance of IT Infrastructure and platforms, as part of a wider infrastructure engineering community. You will assist in the planning and management of technicalchanges related to your IT Operations specialism and take responsibility for developing your knowledge base, keeping up to date with emerging technologies and sharing this across the wider infrastructure community.

**What we’re looking for in ourEO Corporate Platform Infrastructure Engineer (Azure)**:
To meet the requirements of this role, you will have a good working knowledge of either Windows or Azure environments, deploying to Cloud Hosting providers, infrastructure as code and automation/orchestration technologies, such as pipelines and Terraform,and/or knowledge or experience of supporting IT Services production.

You will be able to demonstrate your experience of high-level planning and managing technical change, whilst gathering information, analysis and problem solving. Effective communication skills, including the ability to interact and build working relationshipswith engineers and other stakeholders are essential.
