**Our joiners must be trade competent in most of the following areas (not all are essential)**:

- Joinery (City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Competent in first fix and framing
- Competent in second fix and dress joinery
- Attention to detail on finish is important
- Ability to work confidently on small sites
- Ability to work confidently in customers private homes
- Ability to work in high-end properties
- Good knowledge of health & safety

**Essential Requirements for Joiner**
- Good standard of work
- 3+ years Experience
- Be able to cover all aspects of carpentry
- Have a positive can-do attitude
- Must be willing to learn and grow as a tradesperson
- High standard of communication skills, both written and oral
- High attention to detail and take pride in what they do
- Must be a team player
- Hold a full driving licence
- Full & Clear DBS check

**Duties of the Joiner will include**:
To work individually or as part of a team undertaking high quality installation, repair, refurbishment and replacement works including multi-trade work

To be aware of and comply with relevant risk assessments, hazards and control measure to be used.

Maintain effective communication with supervisors and managers, passing on information, concerns and problems.

The post holder may be required to perform duties, appropriate to the post, other than those given in the job specification

It would be preferable to have second-man experience and multi-trade capability in one (preferably two+) of the following areas:

- Plumbing
- Tiling
- Plastering
- Brickwork

General building capability would be advantageous

20 days holiday plus bank holidays

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £32,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Joinery: 3 years (required)
- Carpentry: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
- DBS Check (preferred)
