A tier 1 civil engineering contractor is recruiting a Site Engineer for the Devonport upgrade. The overall redevelopment of Devonport is a high profile project with a variety of work involved on the project from sea walls and cofferdams to buildings anddry docks.

Ideally as a Site Engineer you will have at least 6 months engineering and setting out experience with a minimum of a HNC/HND in Engineering. The business also has outstanding training to progress you through your career and into management, as well as mentoringyou through ICE chartership.

Site Engineer duties include:

- Setting out with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)
- Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
- Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
- Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement
- Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
- Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
- Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD

The business will be able to keep you working in the South West, offering structured progression and interesting work throughout the redevelopment of Devonport.
