An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic team here in Harrogate as a Consultant in the Urology Department, with the opportunity to develop a sub-speciality interest.

The Urology department at Harrogate Hospital is an innovative and forward thinking group of five Consultants, in-patient and out-patient services and a fully equipped Urology theatre are provided. The department works with an average of 550 new patients per month and is continuing to expand outreach work.

Specialist services include stone treatment, BPH, female urology, andrology and paediatrics. We link in to the Leeds Specialist MDT’s for tertiary referral of urological cancers. We provide outreach clinics and haematuria investigations at three sites in North and West Leeds and Wetherby.

Elective inpatients and day cases are admitted to the hospital Monday to Friday. Emergencies are admitted directly to the ward from either A&E or via GP referral.
