Our client based in Ferndown is looking for an Office Assistant to join their friendly team, on a temporary to permanent basis with an immediate start.

You will be providing support to the MD and employees and assisting in daily office needs and activities and to ensure the smooth running of the office.

The main responsibilities include:

- Coordinate and organize office activities
- Oversee stock of office supplies
- Ordering and co -ordinating plant hire and materials
- Preparing site files
- Actioning notices to council for road closures, traffic lights and general works on highway
- Maintain the calibration of equipment every 6 months
- Maintaining our fleet of vehicles, MOT, service, and general maintenance
- Maintaining our Quality Management System & other accreditations - i.e., ISO and achillies
- Being an extra pair of hands when needed

Previous experience working in an Administrative or clerical position is essential, ideally from an Engineering or Plant hire background.

Ful training will be given, and the salary is negotiable

Monday - Friday - 9am - 3pm however this can be flexible
