**Senior Finance Assistant**

We are delighted to be working with a family-owned and highly reputable commercial vehicle restoration business with three sites across Essex and Kent.

They are currently looking to add a Senior Finance Assistant, on a full-time basis, to their current team of three. The role will mainly focus on Bank Reconciliations and Sales Ledger, however, there will also be exposed to the wider aspects of the financefunction. The role will report directly to the Financial Controller and will be office based at the premises in Grays, Essex.

**Your Responsibilities**
- You will be posting bank receipts and payments, and reconciliation of all bank accounts and credit cards across the Group of Companies.
- You will manage and reconcile the sales finance accounts.
- You will be posting and full reconciliation of intercompany loan accounts.
- You will submit sales invoices and statements to customers and manage customer relationships, assisting with arising queries.
- You will complete credit checks and set up new customer accounts.
- You’ll provide ongoing support to the Financial Controller.

**Your Skills and Experience**
- You are a confident user of Microsoft Excel (Essential), Outlook and Word.
- You have excellent communication skills, with previous exposure to working with external parties.
- If you have experience using Sage 50, this would be highly beneficial.
- You have excellent organisational and time management skills.
- If you are AAT Qualified, this would be preferred.

**Remuneration and Rewards**
- Up to £35,000 Base Salary (Negotiable dependent on skills and experience).
