We are a family run glazing business based in Newcastle upon Tyne and covering right across the North East. We offer Windows, Door, Conservatory and other related home improvement products. We are looking for a Sales Consultant to join our friendly team. Although the role is titled "Sales", We have a policy to only sell the products our customer needs rather than the other methods that other glazing companies offer with their high pressure selling. You would be responsible for meeting customers within the showroom or visiting customers homes to discuss their needs and offer our range of products. We don't offer a "quote in the home" service. Our sales consultant would then send out a written quotation and follow this up as required. **Key Responsibilities & Requirements** - As a Sales Consultant, you would deal with incoming leads and visitors to the showroom to assist with their enquiries. Mainly residential customers. - Have a good knowledge of our window and door products. - Identify and follow up on enquiries - Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers - Production of quotations and written correspondence with clients. **Qualities Required** - Experience within the window industry is preferred - Proven experience in sales or a related field - Some knowledge of building regulations and being able to read architects drawings - Excellent attention to detail. - A methodical and thorough approach to work. - An ability to prioritize workload and stay calm under pressure. - Ideally be familiar with using a CRM system - A great team player. - A desire to show initiative and self motivation. - Good English and Math skills. - Be assertive, honest and reliable. Our general opening times are Monday - Friday 9am-4.30pm. This role can be very flexible to suit the right person.
