**Job Description**: Job Title: Sunday Parcel Delivery Worker Location: Banbury **Salary**: £18.58 Contract Type: Temporary/Ongoing Sector: Delivery We are currently recruiting a Parcel Delivery Worker to work on an ongoing, temporary assignment supporting Royal Mail at their Banbury Delivery Office. To be considered for this role you must be available to work Sundays on an ongoing basis. You will be responsible for delivering parcels to residential properties throughout Banbury / Bicester / Chipping Norton and the surrounding villages, quickly and efficiently, with completion required within a set timescale, whilst maintaining high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service. Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office and delivering parcel via foot or van. The role is working on Sundays only, starting at 11am and finishing at 7pm. This position will involve driving the Royal Mail vans; therefore, you must have a valid UK driving licence and the ability to drive vans. You will need to pass a security vetting process and have the following skills and experience: " Hold a valid UK Driving Licence - with no more than 6 points for minor offences, No DR or IN endorsements, for insurance purposes (Driving licences must be registered to your current home address) " Demonstrate excellent customers service and communication skills " Upbeat and self-motivated " Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather " Good levels of fitness to meet demands of the role " Excellent organisation skills whilst being extremely methodical " Resilience and flexibility " Have the ability to work quickly and efficiently whilst adhering to company procedures and regulations " Have good knowledge of the Banbury area and surrounding villages " Previous delivery experience would be an advantage
