**HGV Mechanic - Clarke Transport**

Due to an increase in workload, the business now requires an experienced HGV Machanic at our Vehicle Maintenance Unit in Oldbury, West Midlands. Working as a key member of the VMU team, you will carry out routine maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs as required, ensuring our vehicles are maintained and repaired to the highest standards.

**As a HGV Mechanic your role will involve**:

- Service and repair of heavy and light commercial vehicles
- MOT preparation and inspections work on vehicles and trailers
- Fault diagnosis of both mechanical and electrical systems
- Attending breakdown incidents where required
- Working within H&S best practices promoting a safety-first culture
- Employing a 'right-first-time' approach to any task
- Ensuring consistent quality of work within appropriate job timings
- Timely completion of all specific company and official paperwork

**The Package**
- Shifts 0600 - 1500 & 1400 - 2300 (1 hr Break) Monday to Friday
- Salary £37,300 per annum OTE
- **£16.64 - NO HGV LICENCE**:

- **£17.94 - WITH HGV LICENCE**:

- 20 Days plus 8 statutory holidays (28 days in total)
- Additional Holiday after 4 years’ service - Extra Day for every additional year’s service up to a maximum of 5 extra days
