**Job summary**:
Provision of workforce planning, resourcing, utilisation and development advice to clients in relation to their workforce and those of their associated providers and partnering organisations. Delivery of consultancy support to clients, including training, supportand advice on national policies and strategies relating to workforce. Development and delivery of tools to support workforce modelling, utilisation, assurance, risk assessment and planning.

**Duties will include**:

- Undertake complex and detailed information analysis of specific reports requiring high levels of concentration.
- Analysis of the data to assess national, regional and local trends in workforce.
- Analysis of national strategies, summarising and presenting findings to internal, external clients and stakeholder groups.
- Provide project and programme management support to, and participate in delivery of, internal and external projects and programmes.
- Work to SCW programme and project management standards.
- Ensure that robust project documentation is in place and is accurately filed, maintained, version controlled and distributed.
- Provide relevant and timely specialist advice and guidance on complex workforce planning and resourcing to internal and external clients.
- Work with members of the team and key stakeholders to develop the workforce offer, including participation in bid support and initiation of new projects and programmes.
- Support the development of internal and external communications through client interaction and development of written reports.
- Provide specialist training, advice and support on own role/responsibilities where necessary.
- Support in the development of the Workforce team, supervising the team as required.
- Participate in the recruitment process of support staff.
- Manage the delivery of internal and client project plans/work streams for allocated areas, allocating tasks and roles as appropriate, identifying risks, issues and dependencies, considering best practice and current options.
- Escalation of issues or exceptions to the appropriate project sponsor
