Join our team at OMNIA, a thriving e-commerce company committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers. We're seeking a skilled and experienced Full-Time Buyer to contribute to our success by identifying, sourcing, and procuring exciting new products for our online platform.
**Location: Witney, Oxford.**
**Job Type: Full-Time**
**Responsibilities**:
- **Product Sourcing**: Identify and source new and innovative products that align with our brand and customer preferences.
- **Vendor Management**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective product procurement.
- **Market Analysis**: Stay abreast of industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to make informed buying decisions.
- **Negotiation**: Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- **Quality Assurance**: Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure all products meet our quality standards.
- **Inventory Management**: Work closely with the inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
**Qualifications**:
- **Previous Buying Experience**: Proven experience in a buying role, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
- **Market Knowledge**: Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor landscape.
- **Negotiation Skills**: Demonstrated ability to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
- **Analytical Skills**: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to make data-driven buying decisions.
- **Communication Skills**: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- **Adaptability**: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
