We have an exciting opportunity for a field technician to join a a growing company. This opportunity woeuld be ideal for someone who has come from PC Repair/Sales background.
Our client looking to recruit a highly motivated, friendly, and supportive IT Field Service Technician to join their Team. The role will mainly consist of providing 1st and 2nd line IT support both remotely and on site, this role will require travel. Basedout of Tamworth and will also mean being responsible for the repair (cradle to grave) of Cube PCs.
Main Duties
- Assist the helpdesk to resolve 1st and 2nd line support tickets.
- When not on site, assist the helpdesk with telephone and remote support to our users
- Be available to travel to site if faults cannot be resolved remotely
- To provide remote and on-site support and maintenance
- Assist the helpdesk with user administration tasks on our clients systems.
Experience and Abilities:
Experience in a similar role is highly desirable, though training will be given to the successful applicant.

**Skills**:

- Be able to work with staff at all levels
- Be able to work under your own initiative and prioritise work accordingly
- Ability to analyse and solve technical problems
- Good communication and people skills with a focus on customer service
- Experience and understanding of Helpdesk Ticket systems
- Experience and understanding of Notebook and Desktop Systems
- A good understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems
