We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced **Payroll & Benefits Assistant** to join us at our offices located in Chafford Hundred. If you have a background in payroll and enjoy a fast-paced environment Aston Lark may be the place for you.

We are looking for a bright, personable, self-motivated individual for this role. You will be working within our Human Resources team and will have responsibility to deliver an efficient and effective payroll service to our Group.

This role offers the opportunity to develop your payroll and benefits knowledge further by working within a highly supportive and specialised team, who are committed to your career development. This is a varied and interesting position and offers hybrid working between our Lakeside office and your own home.

**What will you be doing**:

- Co-ordinate monthly payroll routines for Sage Cloud 50 payrolls and outsourced Access payrolls
- Check monthly payrolls to ensure all staff are paid accurately and on time
- Manage the auto-enrolment process for new joiners
- Assist with management of employee benefits (eg health screens, season ticket loans and long service awards)
- Assist with on onboarding of new acquisitions
**You need to bring with you**:

- Experience of running Sage Cloud 50 payroll
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of payroll, taxes and current HMRC and other regulatory requirements
