**ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ADMINISTRATOR - FULL TIME, NORTH SHIELDS OR WASHINGTON**

We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Finance Department for an Accounts Payable Administrator. Working in a dynamic and forward-thinking team, we are looking for someone who can deliver an excellent service to both our suppliers and internal customers.

**What you'll be doing**

Key responsibilities
- Processing of purchase invoices following the company authorisation procedures.
- Process supplier payments in line with strict Company KPIs.
- Monitoring and administrating pro-forma payments.
- Manage supplier statements to ensure a reconciled clean purchase ledger.
- Proactively deal with supplier and internal customer queries.
- Be proactive during daily tasks to support process improvements.
- Provide GRNI & creditor reporting

**What you'll be able to demonstrate**

Skills and experience
- Previous experience of working in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume invoice processing environment.
- Experience in VAT treatment of invoices.
- Highly numerate with excellent IT skills; particularly MS Excel and Word with a high level of both spoken and written English.
- Excellent attention to detail and a drive for problem solving.
- Exposure to working with foreign currency and international supplier.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with motivation to maintain and develop internal and external relationships.
- Experience of stock accounting (multiple products, brands & SKUs) is desirable
