The Company
Pertemps are delighted to be working with an established family-owned business, with over 90 years’ experience in Timber, Engineered Timber, Manufactured Buildings and more. From manufacture to merchanting, our client has the expertise to advise, supply orsupport you in any project or build.
The opportunity has arisen to become a Branch Sales Manager within this business and have the chance to impact the future success of the branch

The Role
As a Branch Sales Manager your role will include
- Finding, securing, and sustaining new customer business
- Investigation and identification of the surrounding area’s full business potential
- Nurturing existing customers
- Managing the branch ledger
- Promoting the brand and our full product offering
- Feeding back leads, enquiries, and sales to the Branch team
- Communicating the current business climate to the sales team
- Development of both new & existing business relationships.
- Executing priorities by ensuring an open line of communication between the sales team and operational colleagues.
- Communicating and supporting the key accounts manager
- Conduct negotiations with respect to both costs, and terms and conditions with existing and potential clients.
- Engage with site managers/buyers/designers to ensuring that the quality of service and product meet the agreed specification at time of sale.
- Deal with customer complaints or non-conformances with regards to quality of service and product issues focusing on a satisfactory resolution for both the customer and the company.
Success is measured through:

- Number of new accounts secured and trading
- Level of spend of existing customers
- Level of self-motivation and proactivity

The Person
The ideal Branch Sales Manager must have:

- Experience within a timber or building materials environment
- Sales experience - Field Sales / Sales team or Counter Sales
- Knowledge of Leicestershire and surrounding areas
UK Driving License
