**Job Title**: Warehouse Operative

**Salary**:£12.86 to £13.50 per hour (Depending on experience)

**Hours**:40 hours per week Mon - Fri (13.30 - 22.00)

**Training will include working an early shift 5.00 - 13.30)**

**Job Purpose**:To assist in the overall production and despatch of customer’s orders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Taking delivery of goods and supplies
- Checking for damaged or missing items
- Moving stock around by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift truck may also be required
- Picking and packing orders
- Loading goods for dispatch (some jobs include delivering)
- Keeping records of stock and all paperwork up to date
- Cleaning work areas

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Proven work experience as a warehouse operative
- Heavy lifting and manual handling
- Motivated with a calm, level headed approach

**Personal Attributes**:

- A good sense of humour
- Enthusiastic and team focused
- Looking to learn, develop and progress in the workplace
