As a Guest Services Supervisor you must oversee the running of a shift and ensure that the guest service assistants are managing their task lists accordingly. You will be responsible for supporting your line manager within the Food & Beverage department.

**About Us**

Mercure Dumfries Cargenholm House Hotel’s striking design is inspired by former resident who was a British Naval Officer renowned for making many important discoveries during his Antarctic voyage. Contemporary design elements throughout the property are inspired by this expedition in a way that evokes curiosity among guests to learn more about the fascinating history behind the building.

The hotel will have approx. 62 rooms, likely consisting of compact doubles to superior family rooms with free Wifi available for all guests. There will have a restaurant, bar and there will be on-site parking.

**Role in our Family**

Key responsibilities to your role:

- Oversee F&B, working operational shifts when required
- To monitor shift procedures, ensuring checklists are completed in the correct manner
- To complete Daily/Weekly Health & Safety Checklists and action
- To ensure that all monies are kept in a safe and secure area adopting the hotels cash handling procedures
- To be proactive in generating sales and referring sales leads as well as upselling products and services where possible (for example, breakfast / dinner)
- To operate the bar and restaurant to the agreed hotel standards include brand standards
- Ensuring the set up of the restaurant and bar for mealtimes
- To maintain the reception, food and beverage outlets, public areas, stores, back office and staff areas in a clean and tidy condition.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
